I’m a stationery artist born and raised in New York City and currently based in Brooklyn. Like the Bird began in 2022 after illustrating stationery for my own wedding and I now have the honor of working with the coolest couples for all things paper!
I aim to create memorable and unique designs for clients who want to capture their personality throughout all paper items. I firmly believe your invitations are the appetizer to your wedding so things should be fun and unexpected!
After an inquiry is submitted, we schedule a complimentary design call where we talk through the scope of work, design vision and inspiration, and general timeline. Once I have a better understanding of what you’re looking for I will provide a more accurate quote for design and printing.
Once we are set with pricing, I begin the first round of design which typically takes 3-4 weeks. After the first round is delivered, we will enter 3 substantial rounds of edits that can span from 1-3 weeks depending on feedback.
I work with a printer based in NYC and would handle all coordination of print production. I like to allow my printer a 10-14 day turnaround so this will be baked into your timeline. If a rush order is necessary, I will provide the rush pricing fee. Clients are also welcome to print with online sites such as Papier, Canva, Zola, etc. but I cannot control quality or predict their timeline.
To gain a general sense of pricing, save the date design begins at $850 and printing can cost an additional $600-$1,000 depending on your numbers and paper choice.
Invitation suites which include main invitation, reply card, and details card begin at $1,800 and can cost an additional $1,000-$2,200 depending on numbers, paper choice, and if there are any custom die cuts being created.
Additional items like hand calligraphed envelopes, envelope liners, ribbons, wax seals are not included in this pricing and will be priced out depending on your project scope.
Day of items such as signage, menus, seating, programs, matches or other favors, are priced a la carte and I will provide more specific pricing upon request.
A fifty percent deposit is required to begin work with the full balance due upon completion. Clients are responsible for all shipping costs. Canceled orders will be billed for the deposit and any additional work completed.
